The word neurodivergent, in a nutshell, is used for a person whose nervous system works in a way that is different/divergent from socially accepted norms of functioning, processing, and being. This workshop on “Unmasking Neurodivergence” is designed for you to gain an in-depth understanding of neurodiversity and its challenges, explore neuro-affirmative practices, and identify the diverse spectrums of neurodiversity. Belonging to the mental health field, we aim to help each other become more inclusive, empathetic and to advocate for a neuro-affirmative world. We also look forward to facilitating open conversations about the struggles within a predominantly neuro-conforming world.

Psychologist and Psychotherapist
Rinkle Jain is a neurodivergent psychotherapist and psychologist. She works from a systemic+feminist lens and is trauma-informed, neuro-informed, and queer-affirmative in her practice. She believes that psychotherapy is a space of growing and becoming, discovering and rediscovering within the safety of a therapeutic relationship. Incorporating a somatic-based approach, she focuses on trauma healing by emphasising the connection between body and mind for holistic health.
